When considering any college, university or career school, it is important to look at the placement rating. In other words, how many students are actually getting jobs in the industry after graduating? Our current placement rating for the 2013/2014 reporting year is 79%. That’s an exceptional rate and it is well above the industry standard – especially in a struggling economy. DAVE school graduates are in such high demand that it is not uncommon for students to be hired before completing the program.
DAVE School graduates have gone on to work in nearly every segment of the computer graphics industry, from video games to television, film, architectural visualization, medical imaging, print advertising and military simulation. Since the DAVE School is widely regarded as one of the best visual effects schools in the world, many graduates go on to work in the film and television industry. We are proud to say that our graduates have worked on films and television shows such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Divergent, Need for Speed, 47 Ronin, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Thor: The Dark World, Pacific Rim, The Walking Dead, Teen Wolf, Almost Human, Lost, Fringe, 24, Battlestar Galactica, and more.
