Green Screen Stage

Many of our visual effects lessons and some of our final projects require shooting scenes and elements on a green screen. Green screen photography allows you to replace the background of the subject and is one of the most common tools used in visual effects production.

We have installed a 25 foot
seamless green screen rigged with green kino-flow lighting. The studio also includes a lighting grid on the ceiling and an excellent studio lighting package.

This space is constantly being re-configured to accommodate our production needs. We often construct whatever sets are required for production.

Our sets are generally constructed by an off hours volunteer crew led by block 1 instructor Tom Henry. Tom was once a scenic carpenter at Nickelodeon Studios (also here at Universal) and he does great work. In addition to this cockpit set for Nasa Seals, Tom created the DNA lab set for Specidemon
