Manny Rosario hired by Paradigm!
Paradigm Productions, LLC, of Memphis, Tennessee, recently hired Emanuel Rosario, DAVE School graduate. Paradigm was founded in March of 1992 by a group of architects that had a strong desire to provide 3D computer graphics and animation services. Since that time, Paradigm Productions has steadily progressed as a specialist in architectural illustration and animations throughout the United States. “We are excited to have a talent like Manny join our team," remarks Charles Gaushell, Principal/Managing Partner of Paradigm.

Previously, Manny worked for Monkey Chow Productions in Orlando before making the big move to Memphis. “It’s amazing how fast my career has taken off”, comments Manny. “Landing a gig at a prestigious studio like Paradigm was a dream come true.” The Dave school wishes Manny and his family the best of luck with their new lives in Memphis.

NewTek Celebrates 20 years
NewTek, creator of the award winning software LightWave 3D taught at The DAVE School, celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a great celebration on the San Antonio Riverwalk. DAVE School owner Jeff Scheetz and teachers William Vaughan and Ron Thornton also attended the celebration.

Block 1 Students Join the MIB
Earlier in the block, students took a mini field trip as a class to ride the Universal MIB ride. Little did they know they would be working on a project related to the movie. The current Block 1 class just wrapped up a head modeling assignment where they got to work with an alien design created by Rick Baker and his crew at Cinovation that was used on the original Men in Black movie. “It was an enormous privilege to be working from such masterful designs.” said Gabriel Cassata. “We didn’t expect to get that type of exciting work in Block 1.”

The students were tasked with recreating the alien mask 100% without deviating from the original design. The Dave school worked with Baker earlier in the year on Teddy Scares, a Block 4 final project, where he voiced Hester. “We’re all very big fans of Rick’s work here at the school and were very excited to get to work with him again," comments instructor, William Vaughan.
