DAVE SCHOOL UPDATE HURRICANE IDALIA

Class sessions were canceled on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Classes will resume on Thursday, August 31, 2023, and make-up days will be communicated to the students by the faculty. 

Administrative staff will be working and be available remotely.

The Canvas Learning Management System will remain open, and students may continue to engage in their classes remotely; however, live sessions will not be scheduled tomorrow.

DAVE SCHOOL UPDATE TROPICAL STORM IDALIA

The DAVE School is actively monitoring the path of Tropical Storm Idalia and how it will impact our campus communities, students, and staff. At the moment, classes will be held as scheduled. The Online and virtual sessions will commence, the Canvas Learning Management System will be available, and Instructors will schedule the live sessions.

Students should contact their instructors for further instructions or questions about their class sessions.

As we continue to monitor the storm’s path, we will update our website and social media pages with changes to this announcement.

DAVE SCHOOL UPDATE TROPICAL STORM NICOLE

The DAVE School is actively monitoring the path of Tropical Storm Nicole and how it will impact our campus communities, students, and staff.

 In an abundance of caution, we decided to change the campus schedules for the remainder of the week:

  • Classes will meet at regularly scheduled times for Wednesday, Nov. 9th.  The campus will close at 4:30p on Wednesday, following the last class of the day. Students should return home immediately following class.
  • On Thursday, all courses will have remote instruction. All staff will work remote, and campus will be closed to visitors.
  • Friday, the campus, courses, and Xlab will be closed in observance of Veteran’s Day.
  • The Virtual Xlab will be available for regularly scheduled assistance from 6-10p on Wednesday and Thursday.  It will be closed Friday and Saturday for the holiday weekend.

Students should contact their instructors for further instructions or questions about their class sessions and links for class.

We will continue to update our website and social media pages with changes to this announcement.

DAVE UPDATE TROPICAL HURRICANE IAN

The DAVE School is actively monitoring the path of hurricane Ian and how it will impact our campus communities. In an abundance of caution, we decided to change the class schedule for the week of September 26, 2022:  All Diploma Classes will meet on Tuesday, 9/27 this week only. We will cancel diploma classes for Wednesday, 9/28/2022, and Thursday, 9/29/2022. All students must attend makeup sessions for these courses on both Friday Oct. 7 and Friday Oct. 14.

Students should contact their instructors for further instructions or questions about their class sessions. Campuses will be open and we will continue to update our website and social media pages with changes to this announcement or campus closures.
